About Our Paper Backdrops
Our photo matte paper is exclusive to Alba Backgrounds, Inc.. It is manufactured exactly to our specifications. We are now able to produce our stunning backdrops on one seamless, paper background at a fraction of the conventional background cost.
With proper handling and storage, your paper backdrop will give you years of profitable service. As with any paper product, care should be taken during install and uninstall, avoiding any contact with fluids. The background should be stored in its provided, plastic tube in a dry, well ventilated place at all times.
Note: At present, we are not printing paper flooring. Therefore, categories such as 3D and flooring can only be purchased in fabric.
About Our Fabric Backdrops and Flooring
Our backgrounds and floors are printed using the most advanced digital-printing technology available today. The 100% polyester material has a special coating which provides for a sharp image with brilliant color and the NFPA 701 fire rating allows it to be used in public places. Its wrinkle resistance and drape makes this media ideally suited for roll-up or folding. When stored folded it is recommended that you use a hand-steamer before use to attain best results. We recommend you only use masking tape to adhere the fabric to your background support system and hard surface floors. Avoid setting up your fabric background on carpeted surfaces as your flooring will "walk" and the masking tape will not adhere.

Backdrop Sizes
Our standard, couples background size is approximately 8.5ft. wide x 9ft. tall for a regular High School dance application. Our group backgrounds range from 14ft. to 20ft. x 8.5ft. but we can print larger widths at your request. Our standard Senior and Under Class Portrait Backgrounds are 6ft. wide x 8ft. tall. Custom-designed backgrounds and some alterations to our standard backgrounds are quoted individually.
Backdrop Pricing
Minor alterations to existing stock or BYOB images will be made at no charge. Graphic alterations and design are charged at the rate of $75.00 per hour with a one hour minimum charge. The determination of charges or estimations are made at the sole discretion of Alba Backgrounds.
